Imphal, December 28 2025: A Special Gram Sabha of Changamdabi Gram Panchayat under Keirao CD Block, Imphal East district was convened at Changamdabi Sagollou Lampak on December 26 .

The Special Gram Sabha was conducted to create awareness among the villagers regarding the Viksit Bharat- Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) [VB-G RAM-G] Act, 2025 .

The programme was attended by Alhaj Md Imran Shah, former Chairperson, Changamdabi Gram Panchayat; Thangjam Noren Singh, Secretary, Changamdabi GP; Ningthoujam Naresh, Accountant cum Data Entry Operator; and Md Sahidur Rahaman among others.

The objectives, provisions, and benefits of the Act were explained in detail, ensuring active participation and better understanding among the people.
