Imphal, August 28 2026: In an interesting turn of events, BJP MLA from Khurai Assembly Constituency today hosted a farewell function along with BJP workers at his residence at Khurai Sajor Leikai.

The farewell function has gone viral on the social media with a picture of the MLA shown sitting in front of a poster emblazoned with the words, 'Farewell Party from BJP Karyakarta, followed by dinner' .

The poster is rounded off with the words, Leishangthem Susindro Meitei, MLA, Khurai AC .

The farewell party comes close on the heels of the MLA earlier announcing in a public meeting that he may leave the BJP if corrective measures are not taken up in right earnest.
