Thoubal, December 27 2025: A one-day free eye check up camp was conducted at the campus of Motherland Youth Club located at Khangabok Moirang Palli in Thoubal district today.

As per a statement, the free health initiative was jointly organised by Khangabok Development Society (KDS), Motherland Youth Club, Khangabok in collaboration with Shilei Eye Care & Optical, Sekmaijin.

Around 100 people received free eye check-up and underwent cataract and blood sugar test at the camp.

At the event, Milan Laishram, secretary, KDS pushed for proper eyecare highlighting the importance of one's eyesight.

He added that the camp was held to give people with eye ailments an opportunity to get checked out and receive treatment.

Expressing gratitude over making such health services available to the people of Khangabok free of cost, a local who attended the camp thanked KDS and MYC, Khangabok for organising the free eye camp.
