Imphal, June 26 2025: The Directorate of Education (S) has invited eligible Class XII passed students who scored high marks in the HSSLC Exam 2025 to register for the "Merit Scholarship Scheme for Students" .

Online registration will start from July 2, 2025 and close on October 10 .

According to a notification issued by Ng Bhogendra Meitei, Director of Education (S), the scholarship amount per student per annum is Rs 12,000 .

Candidates eligible for the scholarship are: i) students who ranked from 1 to 305 in HSSLC Exam 2025 in Science stream, ii) Students who ranked from 1 to 303 in the Arts stream and iii) Students who ranked from 1 to 199 in the Commerce stream.

A total of 300 students will be selected for the scholarship, with 125 each from Science and Arts stream and 50 from Commerce.

Based on the merit list furnished by COHSEM, the list of eligible students can be downloaded from www.manipureducation.gov.in.
