CNPO condemns allegations against DFO Chandel, UBAC claims fake

Chandel, February 25 2025: The Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) had condemned the baseless allegations leveled against the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) by a business association in Chandel.

The CNPO in a release has stated that these allegations are entirely unfounded, fallacious and devoid of merit and driven by ulterior motives, fueled by personal vested interest, rather than genuine grievances.

The CNPO continued that despite these baseless accusations, the DFO remains resolute in serving the public with unrelenting enthusiasm, openness, and sincerity.

The CNPO further urged the public to remain impartial of the spurious allegations and continue cooperating with the DFO's office.

Meanwhile the United Business Association, Chandel has clarified that the press note issued under the name of United Business Association, Chandel to remove the present DFO of Chandel, Dr N Munal as fake and has nothing to do with the Association.

The Association in release stated that the fake note was perpetrated to tarnish the image of Dr N Munal Meitei, DFO of Chandel.

The UBAC is working in full cooperation with the present incumbent DFO, Chandel, Dr N Munal Meitei and opposes the transfer of the DFO, said UBAC .
