Imphal, June 24 2025: A total of 13 individuals, seven from Imphal East and six from Imphal West, were confirmed COVID-19 positive today.

With 13 confirmed positive out of 44 samples subjected to COVID-19 test, today's positivity rate is 29.5 per cent.

Imphal East registered a 50 per cent positivity rate as seven out of 12 samples were confirmed positive while Imphal West recorded a positivity rate of 30 per cent with six out of 20 samples confirmed positive.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases has reached 171 while the cumulative number of discharged cases has risen to 34 .

This includes 14 COVID-19 positive people discharged today following recovery.

The total number of active cases stood at 137 on Tuesday.

Of the 137 active cases, 124 are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Government Dance College Mandap, Palace Compound has been designated as COVID-19 testing site for Imphal East district, according to an order issued by Imphal East DC Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam.
