MAYOL campaign for clean politics reaches Thoubal

Thoubal, June 23 2026: As part of its year-long campaign "Politics: Vote for National Regeneration", the Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) continued its poster campaign in Thoubal district on Tuesday to promote clean politics and ethical voting practices.

On the fourth day of the campaign, MAYOL pasted awareness posters carrying nine messages on various public transport vehicles, including autos, e-rickshaws and minivans, at Thoubal Bazar Parking, Wangma Taba Parking and Mela Ground Parking.

The posters carried messages such as "Be a Responsible Citizen", "Don't Sell Your Vote, Secure the Future", "Choose Worthy Leaders", "Establish a Good Government", "End Vote-Buying Culture" and "People Are Masters, Government Is Servant".

MAYOL stated that the campaign aims to create political awareness among citizens and encourage responsible participation in the democratic process.

Meanwhile, as part of its mass awareness campaign, MAYOL also organised a public meeting at Yotpokpa Yotningthou Khamlangba Laibung, Thoubal Kshetri Lekai The meeting was attended by social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram, senior citizens Chanambam Jatra, Khumanthem Ibohanbi and Waikhom Thambou, along with MAYOL president Akoijam Suresh and other members.

The campaign seeks to encourage people to reject money-based politics and support leaders committed to public welfare and good governance.
