21 students selected for National Science Exhibition

Twenty-one high school students from Manipur have been selected for the Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani 2025-26 following the XLIV State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children.
The Directorate of Education (S), Government of Manipur, announced the results today.
The state-level exhibition for Classes IX to XII was held on April 18 at the SCERT Conference Hall, Lamphelpat, under the theme, "STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat" .
A panel of experts assessed the exhibits.
The selected students will be recommended to NCERT for the nationallevel exhibition.
G Anita Devi, Additional Director of Education (Grievance Cell), attended as chief guest at the prize distribution.
K Bimolchand Singh, Joint Director Education (S), presided, while Y Hemchandra Singh, Zonal Education Officer, Zone-I, was guest of honour.
The selected exhibitors include Veronica Laishram of Bright Foundation School for "Smart Sustainable Agriculture Model"; Manimatum Takhellambam of Ananda Puma Higher Secondary School for "Improvise Fodder Cutter"; and Chanambam Churchil Meitei of Sainik School Imphal for "Project Sahayta" .
Others selected are Khongbantabam Rupubar Singh of Lilong Higher Secondary School for "Green Energy Smart City"; Konjengbam Candoliza Prabina of Mother's Pride Academy for "Hygiene Breaks Exponential Growth"; Naorem Tomthinganba Singh of Samurou Higher Secondary School for "Agimonitoring System Real Time"; and Shree Laishram and Shinleima Akoijam of Nirmalabas High School for "Zero Carbon Smart City" and "Nature is the Solution" respectively; The list also includes Khumukcham Linthoi Devi of Kakching Khunou Higher Secondary School for "Health and Hygiene"; Yumnam Dipson Singh of Yumnam Huidrom Higher Secondary School for "Probability Through Games"; Mayank Singh of Sainik School Imphal for "LTM (Laser Triangulation Meter)"; and Chanam Lanchenba Singh of St John English School for "Area and Circumference of a Circle" .
Sunitarani Aheibam of LCM High School presented "Sustainable Utilization of Natural Plant Resource for Fibre Production"; Cherlyn Panmei of Christian Heritage Institute showcased "Aquaponics"; Kaluatjinilu Gangmei of Sharon English High School presented "Hydroponic Culture of Lettuce Plant"; and Shivjit Khumanthem of Mother's Pride Academy demonstrated "Lockbrik" .
Thingbaijam Lanchenbi Chanu of Ibotonsana Girls' Higher Secondary School exhibited "The Glow Cool Vac Model"; Thangjam Deepa Devi of Uripok Tondonsana and Thamboumacha High School presented "Potato Peel Biofilm"; Moirangthem Mahesh Meitei of Grace Academy, Heirok, was selected for "Smart Drip Irrigation and Rain Water Harvesting"; Ayekpam Yuhenba Meetei of Praja Higher Secondary School for "Natural Water Purifier"; and Aisha Gupta of Trinity Public School for "Jairakshak" .
