Bajaj launches GoGo electric auto-rickshaw

The all-new Bajaj GoGo Electric auto-rickshaw was launched at the Manipur Motors showroom at Mantripukhri, on Friday by Manipur Women's Cooperative Bank Limited general manager Laishram Romesh, in the presence of representatives of different transport bodies.
Speaking at the event, Manipur Motors general manager Hukam Chand Jain highlighted the advanced features and technological innovations that set the Bajaj GoGo apart from conventional auto-rickshaws.

He emphasised that the GoGo offers the best-in-class long range, a 5-year battery warranty, and first-in-class tech features ensuring reliable, robust, and eco-friendly transit.
With its speed, sustainability, and efficiency, the Bajaj GoGo represents a bold step towards embracing an electric future, he maintained.
The Bajaj GoGo is equipped with a 12.1 kWh battery that delivers a certified range of 251 km on a single charge.
It generates a peak torque of 36 Nm, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
The e-rickshaw comes with a two-speed automated transmission that enhances efficiency and driving comfort.
Its metal body design ensures durability and safety, while features like Auto Hazard and Anti-Roll Detection provide an added layer of security.
The vehicle is also fitted with LED lights and Hill Hold Assist, offering a seamless and safe driving experience, especially on challenging terrains.
The Bajaj GoGo's on-road price has been set at Rs 4.5 lakh, making it an attractive option for those seeking to venture into a sustainable and cost-effective mode of transportation.
The launch event was attended by representatives of transport operators, including Imoinu Diesel Auto Owners' Cooperative Society Limited, Imphal secretary L Janaki Singh, AMODA secretary L Shantanu, All Moirang Transport Coordinating Committee general secretary L Tomba, and All Thoubal Drivers' Apex Body secretary N Jibon.
