Imphal, April 20 2026: The All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) has vehemently condemned the killing of two Tangkhul men in an ambush carried out by Kuki narco-terrorists on Imphal-Ukhrul road at TM Kasom village on April 18, 2026 .

A press release issued by AMSU said that after attacking and killing a large number of Meitei people and burning their houses, Kuki narco-terrorists have started attacking other indigenous communities of Manipur.

It is becoming very clear that the ultimate objective of the Kuki narco-terrorists is annihilating all the indigenous communities of the land, AMSU said.

Urging the Government to bring an end to the war being waged by Kuki narcoterrorists against indigenous people of Manipur, the student body asked whether the Central forces are here to protect civilians or help Kuki narco-terrorists in their war.

It warned that Manipur may see an unprecedented upheaval if the Government fails to act before it is too late.
