"Festival of Colours" held

The Academy of Indigenous Music (AIM) successfully organised its 6th annual "Festival of Colours", a vibrant Holi festival event, today at Bamon Kampu Mayai Leikai.
The event aimed to celebrate the local culture and the spirit of Yaoshang.
The festival saw significant participation from local dignitaries and artists.
State Kala Akademi awardee, Gotimayum Surchandra Sharma, and Radheshyam Irengbam, president of AIM, graced the occasion as the chief guest and president, respectively.
According to Irengbam Shyamchand Singh, secretary of AIM, the "Festivals of Colours", which is closely linked to the local culture and the Yaoshang festival, is an annual tradition.
This year marked the sixth iteration of the event.
The festival featured lively performances by various artists from AIM, with three distinct groups showcasing their Holi performances' during the celebration.
The event successfully brought the community together in a festive atmosphere to enjoy the traditional celebrations.
