Ex-servicemen fraternity provides financial aid to NEET topper Neera Laishram

Thoubal, August 18 2025: Laishram Neera, daughter of Late Naik Laishram Rameshwar of Thoubal Kshetri Leikai, who secured the 4th position in the overall State ranking of the NEET Examination 2025, has been awarded a financial assistance of Rs 24,000 by the Ex-servicemen Fraternity of Manipur in recognition of her outstanding achievement.

The financial assistance was handed over to Neera and her mother, Nirmala, wife of Late Rameshwar, by the fraternity led by Retd Col T Robindro Sharma, Honorary Capt P Khelen Singh, and Subedar M Khogendra at their residence.

Speaking in this connection, Col T Robindro stated that although Ex-servicemen Late Naik Laishram Rameshwar had departed untimely, the fraternity chose to stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and extend both moral and financial support to encourage Neera in her academic journey.

With Neera set to be admitted to RIMS for her MBBS course, the fraternity assured further assistance for her education and promised every possible support in the future.

They also conveyed wishes for her success in all future endeavours and prayed for her good health.
