Special General Assembly of DPF held

Imphal, April 18 2025: The Special General Assembly of the Democratic People's Front (DPF) was held at the auditorium of Hotel Yaiphaba, Imphal on Friday.

The assembly was presided over by DPF president Dr Narengbam Rajivkumar and vice president Paonam Sunder.

Kshetrimayum Tama was also present as a special guest.

As per a release issued by DPF, the agendas of the Special General Assembly were, "Approval of the Resolutions on the agenda placed before the Meeting held on April 2, 2025", "Reconstruction and approval of the Central Committee members", "Organization of the Party", etc.

Over 80 members, party workers and party sympathizers attended the Special General Assembly.

The gathering unanimously resolved to change the name of the party "Manipur Democratic People's Front (MDPF)" to "Democratic People's Front (DPF)"; amend certain articles and provisions of the constitution of the party; expand the Central.

Committee Members and active members of the party from each Constituent Assembly (Kendra); constitute the Election Committee and Financial Committee of the part; etc .
