21st Students' Martyrdom Day observed at Jiribam

Jiribam, August 17 2025: Commemorating the supreme sacrifice of Pebam Chittaranjan, the 21st Students' Martyrdom Day 2025 was observed on Saturday at PWD Guest House, Babupara in Jiribam district.

The ceremony was organised by Manipuri Students Federation (MSF), Jiribam District Committee and witnessed the attendance of All Jiribam Clubs United Association (AJUCA) president M Maipaksana Mangang; Observation Committee, MSF District Committee, Jiribam chairman Th Samanand Singh; JIMET life-time president Ch Kamal Singh; Apunba Jiribam Meira Paibi (AJMP) president S Sushila Devi; District Kang Association, Jiribam general secretary O Bisambhor Singh and All Manipur Women Voluntary Association AMAWOVA president Th Priyadhasani Devi as the presidium members.

M Maipaksana Mangang kicked off the event with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

The gathering paid a floral tribute on the portrait of Pebam Chittaranjan.

Traditional Namphi shawls were presented to the dignitaries at the function.
