Noney district holds gram sabha meetings on Village Action Plan Vision 2030

Noney, October 16 2025: As part of the implementation of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, special Gram Sabha meetings of Haochong Block village were held on October 7,8 & 9, 2025 inNoney district.

During these meetings, the Gram Sabha approved the Village Action Plan Vision 2030.The Village Action Plan includes the culmination of various activities like Transect Walk, Resource Mapping and Manpower Mapping, carried out in the village by a special team of the Sub Division comprising of Block Nodal Officer, Block Master Trainers, Village Nodal officer and partner NGO (Faithfull Society) along with the village representatives, Adi Saathis, Adi Sahayogis and youth volunteers.

It provides a glimpse of the prevailing scenario in the village highlighting its potential, problem areas and underdevelopment and identifying areas that require intervention.

The plan in turn provides a roadmap for development in the village and achieving the projected vision by 2030 thus laying out the foundation for further progress and development.

It also synchronizes the aspirations of the village with intervention programmes and includes various projects for progress in sectors like agriculture, health, education, entrepreneurship and welfare.

The Village Action Plan has been uploaded in the portal by the Block Nodal Officer Christian Home after approval by the Special Gram Sabha.

Event updates have also been shared through social media platforms like YouTube, for wider community engagement.

The Special Gram Sabha programme was attended by village authority members, women society, youths, students, church members, Village Nodal person, Adi Saathis and Adi Sahyogis of the district.

Representatives of the Block Administration along with partner NGO, The Faithful Society, also attended the programme at the village.

Stiff Khapudang, District Nodal Officer DAJGUA & AKA; HL Christian Home, Block Nodal Officer Haochong and other related officials were also present during the meeting.
