Bishnupur, October 16 2024: Love FC Thinungei Mamang Leikai organised a reception cum blessing ceremony at Ibudhou Loyalakpa Harao Sanglen to welcome the TG English School, Bishnupur football team who clinched the junior boys title of the 63rd Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2024 held in Delhi.

Sixteen football players and two officials were felicitated today including midfielder of the team Naorem Goutam, s/o Naorem Bimol from Thinungei.

A blessing ceremony was also held ahead of their participation in the 2nd edition of Indo-French Football Tournament 2024 to be held in Paris between November 25 to 30 .

The event was graced by Dr Ksh Imokanta, Chief Finance Officer, Agriculture Department; social worker Th Shyamjai Singh and Naorem Ongbi Bheigyabati Devi, chairman, Thinungei GP Administrative Committee as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour respectively.

Simple gifts were presented to the team and officials while local children showcased cultural performances before the gathering.
