NPP Manipur holds social media workshop

Imphal, June 16 2026: The National People's Party, Manipur State Unit, through its Media and IT Cell, organised a one-day Social Media Workshop yesterday at its Mantripukhri office.

Presided over by NPP state president Dr Lorho S Pfoze, National People's Women's Front vice president Elena Longjam, and Women's Front state president Nonibala Sapam, the session focused on effective social media use for public outreach.

Dr Pfoze said proper use of social media brings benefits, while misuse creates rifts, urging responsible handling.

Media and IT Cell convenor Yasser Khan detailed how to utilise Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and explained leveraging AI tools like Chat GPT for communication.

He also highlighted using social media to gather citizen feedback and build personal connections with voters.
