AR Tamenglong Battalion organises medical camp

Tamenglong, July 12 2024: The Tamenglong Battalion of Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp in Kabui Khullen village today under Operation Sadbhavana for the Financial Year 2024-25.The Assam Rifles in a statement said that the camp was conducted to address the health issues of the locals residing in the area.

Around 450 people were benefited by the camp which entailed general health checkup and medical examination by medical staff of Assam Rifles.

Medicines were also distributed and administered as per the requirement of the patients.

Such medical camps provide the poor population with overall physical examinations and assessment of the functioning of vital organs.

Free Medical Camps are extremely helpful for the underprivileged who can not afford expensive healthcare services offered by Hospitals or Clinics.

In a season riddled with severe floods and torrential rains, and the ailments that accompany, conduct of such medical camps in far flung villages is a significant initiative.

This considerate gesture was widely appreciated and much needed.
