Thoubal, April 11 2025: Thoubal Forest Division under the initiative of Green India Mission (GIM) organised a hands-on training on "Livelihood Improvement Activities (Mushroom Cultivation & Beekeeping)" at DFO Thoubal Complex today.

The event was participated by around 50 trainees of the Joint Forest Management Committee (JFMC) under Thoubal Forest Division.

The event was graced by Divisional Forest Officer Thoubal, Dr L Jeeceelee, RO Headquarter Deepa Ninthoujam, and RO Thoubal Dinesh Salam.

During the training programme, Retd District Officer of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, and Managing Director of Mk Mushroom Kakching, Kshetrimayum Prava Devi and Green Land Farm Salungpham, proprietor Laishram Bisheshwor Meitei gave valuable insights on topics related to "Mushroom Cultivation" and "Beekeeping" to the trainees.
