Students demand clear stance from Govt regarding NEP-2020

Bishnupur, February 10 2025: Students of CI College, Bishnupur staged a protest in front of the college gate today demanding a clear stance from the Government regarding National Educational Policy (2020) .

Speaking to the media persons, one student participating in the protest stated that the Government should not ruin the career of the students.

Urging the Government to withdraw the decision to implement a 4 year undergraduate programme, he demanded the Commissioner and Director of Education to resign from their posts.

If the demands of the students are not met, they will continue various forms of agitation, said the student.

At the protest, students shouted slogans like "Save Students, Save College," "Replace irresponsible Commissioner/Director," etc.
