Chandel, July 09 2025: The District Legal Services Authority, Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority and National Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Chandel organised a tree plantation programme at District Court Complex, Chandel on July 7 .

The plantation programme held as part of Van Mahotsav, 2025 "Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam - 2.0" was led by Phungreishung PA, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Chandel in the presence of Fakhrul Islam Choudhury, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Moreh, Executive Members of Chandel Bar Association and Officials of Divisional Forest Office, Chandel.

Focusing on the aim to disseminate awareness to the general populace of the district on conservation of forest, tree saplings were planted widely at the District Court premises.

The officials, members of Chandel Bar Association, staff and Para Legal Volunteers also took part in the tree plantation programme.
