Imphal, July 07 2025: An IDP from Moreh, taking refuge at Alternate Housing Complex relief camp, Langol Game Village Zone 3, died of a medical problem today.

The deceased identified as Ningthoujam Jotin s/o late N Amubi hailed from Moreh Turel Wangma Leikai Ward No 7 .

After fleeing from Moreh following the Kuki aggression, Jotin was taking refuge at the relief camp together with his family.

Jotin was suffering from kidney problems since a long time back and he was undergoing treatment by visiting hospitals regularly.

As he became unwell, he was taken to JNIMS Hospital today but he died at the hospital.

So far 34 IDPs from Moreh have died due to different medical problems including depression and anxiety.
