Thoubal, July 07 2024: Youth Sporting Club (YSC), Khundongbam Leikai, Kiyam Siphai Thoubal conducted its annual felicitation programme and honoured meritorious students, coaches and sportspersons from the locality.

During the ceremony, eight Class X and XII students as well as national and international coach and three players were felicitated.

The "Annual Felicitation Programme 2024" was graced by Y Nabachandra Singh, former president UCM and social worker as the chief guest; Kh Thambangou Singh, senior citizen as the functional president and N Shanti Devi, Councillor, Ward No 15, Thoubal Municipal Council as the guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, former UCM president Y Nabachandra Singh lauded YSC for providing encouragement to the young students, players and coaches.

He expressed hope that the students and the players will work for the betterment of the State as well as the locality.

He encouraged the students and the sports personalities to work hard and wished them success in their future endeavours.
