Imphal, October 06 2024: In connection with the upcoming "Kwak Tanba Numit", a "Pana-Khousarol Yendamnaba" event was organised today at Thang-Ta Loishang, Sana Konung, Imphal.

The "Kwak Tanba" ceremony has been observed on the 10th of Manipuri lunar month 'Mera' at Sana Konung since ancient times, said a release.

The "Pana Kousarol Yendamnaba" was attended by Angom Ningthou Angom Poireiton as the chief judge.

During the event, Ringku Waikhom (Laipham Pana), Toijam Karnajit Meitei (Khabam Pana), Thounaojam Bonbowl Meitei (Ahallup Pana) and Shandam Iralsana Khuman (Naharup Pana) were elected as the four "Pana Khousaroui" for this year.

Members of Uttra Sanglen, priests and "Nahalup" of Sana Konung Thang-Ta Loishang also took part in the event.
