Imphal, September 06 2025: All Manipur Chesam/Chasabam Sagei Development Committee (AMCSDC) on Saturday felicitated Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik, who was recently conferred the prestigious Vir Chakra by the President on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day for his exemplary bravery during Operation Sindoor.

The felicitation ceremony held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal was graced by dignitaires, including AMCSDC president, Moulana Mahmood Hassan; Fajur Rahim, former MLA of Wabagai AC; Dr Dhanabir Laishram and social activist Juliya Shinglai.

Speaking on the occasion, AMCSDC general secretary Nashir Khan extended heartiest congratulation to Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik, on becoming the first Meetie Pangal to be conferred the prestigious Vir Chakra.

He also lauded Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik's remarkable achievement, describing it as a moment of pride for Manipur.
