SKABU holds fasting & prayer for HSLC candidates

Senapati, February 05 2025: In view of the upcoming High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) examination, Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) organised a fasting and prayer program for HSLC examination appearing students of the district.

The event held at TNK Baptist Church, Senapati was attended by around 300 students from schools in and around Senapati and Karong.

Rev Paul Inpui, vice-president, SKABU led a special prayer for the HSLC candidates.

Rev RS Abraham, secretary of SKABU stated that wisdom comes from fear of God and knowledge from studying.

He also mentioned that happy are those who began well and ended well, however many began well but had a terrible ending or some had a terrible beginning but ended well.

The pastor also urged the students to be careful and plan their future well so as to end well.

Rev S Shele in his speech stated that there is no greater joy than to hear that the children walk in truth, urging all students to make their parents proud.

He urged the students to not fall into evil things but to pursue their dreams to have a bright future in life.

Rev S Dapunii spoke on the topic, "The impact of choice" while Pastor BK Thomas on "Pressing towards the mark for the prize" .
