Imphal, January 05 2022: The National Revolutionary Front, Manipur (NRFM) has greeted the people and groups taking forward the 'freedom struggle' of Kangleipak on the occasion of its 10th foundation day which falls on January 7 .

A press release issued by NRFM said that every entity which obstructs the freedom struggle of the once independent Kangleipak is their enemy.

Claiming that the people here have been living like a prisoner of war since India allegedly annexed Manipur, the NFRM contended that India never considers Manipur as a part of the country.

The outfit also claimed that widespread plantation of poppy and establishment of clandestine drug laboratories are a serious threat to the indigenes of Manipur.

Further claiming that people of the North East region have been living like a gatekeeper whose purpose is only to safeguard the border areas, the outfit maintained that the only way to save Manipur from these persecutions is through liberation from India.

NRFM then urged all to shun indulging in activities that are detrimental to the unity of Manipur.
