Imphal, September 04 2025: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's potential visit to Manipur, a booth level meeting of BJP Booth Level Committee 23/18 and 23/19 was held yesterday at Mayang Imphal Thana Leikai.

Twenty-five households including former NPP and Congress workers were warmly welcomed into the BJP fold by BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal and Mayang Imphal AC MLA Kongkham Robindro Singh at the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Kongkham Robindro said that during his two terms as MLA of Mayang Imphal AC, the State has witnessed significant adversities, notably the pandemic and the ongoing conflict, which hindered the development of the constituency.

However, he faced these obstacles and undertook developmental activities for the welfare of Mayang Imphal AC citizens.

He declared that the developmental works taken up by him are not less than those initiated by former ministers from the AC.

The booth level meeting was attended by Irom Rabi, president, BJP Mayang Imphal, Mayang Imphal AC Councillors, ward members, former Zilla Parishad members, former Pradhans etc .
