Imphal, August 04 2025: The 23rd Inauguration cum Orientation Programme of BEd 2025-27 was held today at RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education, Asha Jina Complex.

The programme was graced by dignitaries, including Prof Sumitra Phanjoubam, Dean, School Of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Manipur University; T Asha, Vice Chairman, RK Sanatombi Devi Educational Institutions; Dr Kh Ajit, Advisor, RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education; and Dr Th Premabati Devi, Principal, RK Sanatombi Devi College of Education.

The inauguration cum orientation programme aimed to acquaint the students with the college environment, faculty, and the various facets of their chosen B.Ed disciplines.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Sumitra highlighted the professional nature of the BEd course and encouraged the students to actively engage in both academic and professional development throughout their two-year journey.

Prof Sumitra also emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in a child's development and underlined the importance of the teacher training programme.
