Imphal, August 04 2024: The 9th Cancer Warrior Support (CWS) was presented to 2.5 years old cancer patient Lamjingba Thongam during a function held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal yesterday.

The event was organised by Share & Care, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal in collaboration with Friday Chuhing, Konung Mamang.

Notably, Friday Chuhing, a fund drive initiative under Cancer Warrior Support was launched by Longjam Lokendro in memory of his wife Longjam ongbi Oinam Ashalata, who passed away due to cancer.

The event was attended by Dr (Prof) GS Moirangthem, Director, Karkinos Manipur Cancer Care & Research Centre; Prof RK Lenin Singh, founder Share & Care and Heikrujam Devendra Singh, Programme Executive, AIR Imphal as presidium members.
