Kakching DC reviews MY Bharat District Advisory Committee activities

Kakching, August 03 2026: Deputy Commissioner of Kakching, Angeline Renita R chaired a review meeting of the MY Bharat District Advisory Committee at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex, Kakching, on Monday.

The meeting was organised by MY Bharat Kakching under the supervision of the District Administration, Kakching.

During the meeting, District Youth Officer (Kakching) Vishal Dhakad made a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the features and benefits of the MY Bharat portal, with a focus on experiential learning and the registration process.

He also demonstrated the enrolment procedure through instructional videos to familiarise participants with the portal.

The meeting also provided an overview of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme and the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 .

Ph Bhavananda Sharma, ADC/ADM Kakching, Zonal Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, and principals and teachers from various schools and colleges in Kakching district, among others, attended the meeting.

MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, launched in October 2023 to place young people at the centre of nationbuilding.

The digital platform seeks to connect government bodies, educational institutions, industry and voluntary organisations to provide youth with opportunities for volunteering, .

experiential learning, skill development, leadership and civic participation, contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 .
