Imphal, June 03 2025: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has expanded its relief efforts by opening additional emergency helpline centers to support flood victims.

Following the initial setup at Khurai Lamlong Keithel, COCOMI has established helpline centers at Kongba Keithel, Konung Mamang, and Khwairamband Keithel to coordinate ongoing relief efforts.

The Committee, in a statement, appealed to those unable to visit the helpline centers to contact them directly on the following numbers: 9863738741, 9366813406 and 9612318445 .

A COCOMI team, headed by convenor Khuraijam Athouba, conducted a site visit to assess the flood situation at Kongba and initiate measures to distribute relief materials to affected individuals, it said and added that arrangements have been made to transfer 18 elderly people from the Citizen Old Age Home at Kongba Nongthombam Leikai to the Khuman Lampak Youth Hostel.

COCOMI stated that they will provide support and care for the 18 elders until they can safely return to the Old Age Home.
