Stage set for counting of votes at Senapati

Senapati, June 03 2024: Stage is all set for counting of votes at Senapati district which is slated to start by 8 am tomorrow.

In this regard, the District Administration Senapati has issued an order to cordon off the venue of the counting at Multipurpose hall, near Mini Secretariat, Senapati.

Deputy Commissioner Senapati, Mamoni Doley, IAS stated that all preparations are ready for the counting of votes.

No electronic gadgets will be permitted inside the counting hall except the Assistant Returning Officer (AROs) and the observers who have been stationed at Senapati.

The DC assured to follow proper protocol during the counting.

It may be noted that there are 76 polling stations for 47-Karong AC, 71 for 48-Mao AC and 81 for 49-Tadubi AC and each round of counting will be done for 10 EVMs each for two sides.
