Hindu Sammelan to be held in Jiribam on Apr 8

Jiribam, April 03 2026: The Hindu Sammelan Samity Jiribam has appealed to the public to participate in the upcoming Hindu Sammelan scheduled to be held on April 5 at RK Sanatombi Vidyalaya Devi Auditorium Hall, Babupara, Jiribam district.

Speaking to the media persons in a press conference, convenor of the Hindu Samelon Samity, Jiribam, Chingangbam Sunamani stated that the event aims to create awareness and understanding about Hinduism.

He informed that several experts will address the gathering on topics such as the essence of Hinduism and its relevance in contemporary society.

He said that to facilitate participation, transportation arrangements have been made for attendees.

Vehicles will ply from Leingangpokpi to Gularthol, Uchathol to Harinagar, and Nigthembam to Dibong, passing through Chingdong Leikai, ensuring accessibility for people from different areas.

Sunamati urged people from all walks of life to attend the event in large numbers and make the programme a success.

The press conference was also attended by Hindu Samelon Samity Jiribam co-convemor Promothes Das and Ch Ibopishak Singh.
