CAP: 157 Bn CRPF hands over sewing machines

Bishnupur, January 03 2026:
A Civic Action Programme (CAP) was organized by the G/15 7 Bn of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Thamnapokpi village, under PS Moirang, Bishnupur district today.
As per a statement, 16 sewing machines were distributed to the villagers, and a 15-day sewing skill training programme was also organized for the women of Thamnapokpi village.
Local residents actively participated in the training sessions, gaining practical skills to enhance their livelihoods.
The local community expressed their gratitude and appreciation for CRPF's people-centric welfare initiatives, highlighting the force's commitment to fostering harmony and development alongside security duties in Manipur.
The programme was inaugurated by Shangker Deba, SP, Bishnupur, who attended the event as the chief guest.
