CMHT, AB-PMJAY awareness programme held at Wabagai

A one-day awareness programme on the Chief Minister Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) was organised at Yangbi Community Hallnear the Yangbi High School Relief Camp, Wabagai, on Thursday to educate internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local residents about the two health insurance schemes.
The programme was jointly organised by the CMHT and AB-PMJAY District Implementation Unit, Kakching, and the State Health Agency/State Nodal Cell, Manipur.
The event was attended by Sub-Divisional Officer, Kakching, Potshangbam Kherdananda; Chief Medical Officer and Mission Director of the District Health Society, Kakching, Dr Thaodem Rajen; Coordinator of the District Implementation Unit, Kakching, Soibam Rajesh, and other officials.
Around 250 participants, including IDPs residing at the Yangbi High School Relief Camp and nearby residents, attended the awareness programme.
During the session, Dr Thaodem Rajen and Coordinator Soibam Rajesh provided detailed information on the eligibility criteria for CMHT and AB-PMJAY cards, the procedure for obtaining the cards, and the healthcare benefits available under the schemes.
