Kangpokpi celebrates accomplishments of Class X and XII students

Kangpokpi, June 02 2024:
The Kangpokpi Youth Union organized a felicitation ceremony today celebrating the accomplishments of Class X and XII students from the town.
Samuel Misao, MCS, Lalminlen Misao, MPS and Joshi Lamkhohat Haokip, MES attended the event as resource persons while Rev Fr Jangkhogin Chongloi graced the momentous occasion as Minister.
KYU Meritorious Award 2024 distribution was led by Nicky Vaiphei, secretary, Department of Education & Statistics, KYU and Lamminsei Sitlhou, vice president (Law and Order), KYU.
The event was also attended by Kangpokpi Town Committee members, including the Town Committee's chairman Angam Leivon, who expressed heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Youth Union, members of the Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organisation and other civil bodies.
Meanwhile, educational institutions within Kangpokpi District Headquarters honoured the accomplishments of their students in the recently declared Class X and Class XII results, 2024 .
MBC Higher Secondary School, Mission Compound, Kangpokpi held its graduation ceremony wherein Nempichong Misao bagged the HSE school topper award and Bharati Budathoki bagged the HSLCE school topper award.
The ceremony also featured special awards to teachers recognizing their outstanding contributions during the academic session.
Notably, MBC Higher Secondary School secured a 100% pass percentage both in Class X and XII results.
Meanwhile, Diamond English High School commemorated the accomplishments of its students in the recently declared HSLCE 2024 results at the school campus today.
The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with all 48 students who appeared successfully passing the examination.
Chongnunthem Kipgen, daughter of Seikhokai Kipgen, bagged the school's prestigious Thongkhomang (TKM) Memorial Award for securing a 9.0 CGPA.
Lighthouse School also celebrated the achievements of its students in the Class X examination.
The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with all 14 students who appeared successfully passing the examination.
Out of the 14 students, 10 secured letter marks in Mathematics, one in Commerce and one in English, marking a milestone achievement for the school.
Nengminhoi Vaiphei was awarded the school's prestigious (L) T Misao Memorial Award for becoming the school topper in the HSLC Examination.
