Celin Digital submits memo

Celin Digital has urged the Governor and Chief Minister to restore normalcy and aid people displaced by the violence, in a three-point memorandum submitted on April30.Celin Digital, a unit of the Centre for Electronic Industry, said the demands are framed under Articles 21 and 19(D) of the Constitution.
The memorandum cited the conflict that began on May 3, 2023, and said many displaced people still live in relief camps in poor conditions.
Its three demands are: safe return of all Internally Displaced Persons with support to rebuild; secure use of National Highways free from blockades and attacks; and a peaceful, permanent end to the communal conflict.
Celin Digital chairman Dr Phanjoubam Lanajit Singh said the group has engaged over 20 political leaders, including Members of Parliament, to push for a political solution.
He noted the memorandum comes amid continued violence and after President's Rule was revoked in February 2026.Lanajit expressed hope the Government would act promptly to restore communal harmony.
