Imphal, November 01 2025: A 1-day workshop on "Sunflower Cultivation in Rice Fallow" was successfully conducted today at the Directorate of Extension Education (DEE), Central Agricultural University (CAU)-NECModelFarm in Lamphelpat.

The workshop was organised by DEE, CAU, Imphal under the sponsorship of ICAR-Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR), Hyderabad.

The workshop was graced by dignitaries, including Prof Ph Ranjit Sharma, Director, DEE, CAU, Imphal; Dr Ch Birendrajit Singh, Training & Monitoring Cell, DEE, CAU, Imphal; Prof Deepak Nath, DEE, CAU, Imphal; Dr I Bhupenchandra, Deputy Director, DEE, CAU, Imphal; and Prof Th Robindro Singh, Nodal Officer, ICAR-IIOR, Hyderabad.

Over 60 farmers from across the State participated in the workshop.
