EECHAL observes 21st Foundation Day

Imphal, August 01 2026: Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinasinlon (EECHAL) observed its 21st Foundation Day today at Thangjing Hall, Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

Presidium members included EECHAL president Tongbram Ongbi Ibemcha, Nupi Samaj president Thokchom Ramani, AMKIL president L Nganbi, Tammi Chingmi president Y Momon, NLANL president Y Mema, NIMPAL president Th Ibeyaima, ANUL Bishnupur president L Pramo, and Thoubal Ima president Kh Mema.

The event began with a 2-minute silence and floral tribute to late EECHAL Uripok Branchpresident L Dhanapati.

Speaking on the occasion, Th Ramani said Meira Paibis have been at the forefront of protecting the State and its issues, and called for safeguarding their movement.

Tongbram Ibemcha urged unity, saying women's collective strength has kept Manipur visible globally.

She also appealed to protect the legacy of forefathers and preserve the State's integrity and identity.
