Imphal, February 25 2025: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) celebrated its 46th foundation day today under the banner "Independence Demand Day" at the party's different units, departments and stations located within Manipur and beyond.

A press release issued by the outfit's Deputy Secretary, Publicity Roben Khuman informed that the foundation day was also observed at many places under different divisions of the outfit's Central Bureau together with the local people by displaying the party's flags, festoons and stars.

Saluting the party's flag and paying deepest respect to all the martyrs who had laid down their lives were the main features of the foundation day celebration.

Another key feature of the foundation day celebration was reading out of RPF acting president MM Ngouba's message to the people.

The 46th foundation day of RPF may bring unity and harmony among all the communities living together in Manipur since ages and enable them sacrifice more for the motherland, said the press release.

As observed in different parts of the State, the 46th foundation day of RPF was celebrated at some locations of Imphal East too.

The foundation day function held in Imphal East was also participated by fighters of the PLA, the armed wing of the outfit.

Saluting and paying respect to all the martyrs who had laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement were the main highlights of the function.

Celebrating the 46th foundation day of RPF, the party's flags, banners and stars were seen displayed on road sides at different places of Imphal East district this morning.
