PREPAK (Pro) condoles slain cadre

The proscribed PREPAK(Pro) has condoled the demise of three revolutionary fighters in a gun battle with a combined force of KNF(B) and Indian military forces at around 5 am of October 23 in a border area.
According to a press release issued by PREPAK (Pro) Assistant Publicity Secretary L Ningsingba, a combined team of KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK(Pro), RPF/PLA and UNLF was patrolling the border area when they were ambushed by a combined team of KNF(B) and Indian military forces.
In the ensuing gun battle PLA's Captain Oinam Gulu alias Babu s/o O Kunjo Singh and O Pishak Devi, PREPAK (Pro)'s Captain Wahengbam Saratkumar alias Sopaiba s/o W Deba Singh and M Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and Lance Corporal Nongmaithem Boneysana alias Nongdon s/o N Raju & S Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai were killed.
The outfit has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the three revolutionary fighters.
It said that the gun battle broke out when the combined team advanced to bust a stronghold of KNF(B) and Indian armed forces.
Sopaiba, Gulu and Nongdon were revolutionary fighters of exemplary valour who were determined to fight all invading forces to the last breath.
Saying that the three martyrs have laid a strong foundation for unity among the revolutionary organisations, the outfit called upon all revolutionary fighters to shoulder the collective responsibility as a united force.
On behalf of the six parties, the PREPAK(Pro) conveyed solidarity to the bereaved families, relatives and friends of the three martyred revolutionary fighters.
The valour of the three martyrs may always serve as an inspiration for all revolutionary fighters, it added.
