Imphal, May 24 2026: A large number of youth took out a bike rally today carrying a message of the urgent need to save Manipur from Kuki narco-terrorism.

The bike rally organised by COCOMI Students' Front was flagged off by COCOMI convenor YK Dhiren from Awang Sek-mai, Imphal West at 9.30 am .

The bike rally passed through Chingmeirong, Khoyathong, Wahengbam Leikai, Tiddim Road, Moirang and Kumbi.

The rally then made its way to Wangoo Sagang, Wangjing Khunou, Umathel and Wabagai Lamkhai.

From Wabagai Lamkhai, the rally went through Kakching, Thoubal, Singja-mei, Ayangpalli and Lam- long before culminating at Khuman Lampak.

Throughout the course of the rally, the participants shouted many slogans including "Wipe out Kuki narco-terrorists from Mani-pur', "Long Live Manipur" etc .

Speaking to the media, COCOMI Students' Front convenor Lukram Malangba Meitei said that the bike rally was organised to spread a message on the need for collective action in order to save Manipur from Kuki narco-terrorism.

He said that Kuki narco-terrorists have been waging a sustained aggression and killing indigenous people repeatedly.

Kuki narco-terrorists have killed a large number of indigenous people during the past three years but the Government of India has not yet taken up any tangible step to bring an end to the protracted violence, Ma-langba said.

Now, Kuki narco-terrorists have started targeting Nagas.

Noting that six Naga civilians abducted by Kuki militants on May 13 could not be rescued or traced till date, he said that the Kuki narco-terrorists have been plotting to wipe out all indigenous people of Manipur with tacit support of the Government of India.

The COCOMI Students' Front convenor demanded an end to the Government of India's divide and rule policy and immediate military crackdown against Kuki narco-terrorists.

COCOMI convenor YK Dhiren said that the bike rally was aimed at sending a message to the Government to resolve the protracted crisis, eliminate narco- terro- rists, end Govt of India's divide and rule policy, make Manipur drug free and save future generations.
