Bike rally completes Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla flagged off a Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Bike Rally at Hatta Kangjeibung, Imphal today.
The bike rally, organised by the Manipur Police as a run-up to the 79th Independence Day, aims at fostering patriotic spirit and encouraging citizens to proudly hoist the National flag.
The event saw large participation of bikers who covered more than 30 kilometres to reach the Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal district.
Chief Secretary Dr Puneet Kumar Goel, Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh, Director General of Police Rajiv Singh and many other civil and police officers attended the event, said Raj Bhavan in a statement.
137 bikers from the Police Department and Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) and 880 bikers from 18 biker clubs took part in the rally.
Later, the Governor attended Tiranga Concert, organised as part of Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 Campaign, at the Palace Auditorium, Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Imphal.
The event witnessed vivid expressions of art and culture, and rekindled the spirit of patriotism and celebrated the enduring bond with the Nation, said the Raj Bhavan.
Speaking at the event, Governor Bhalla said the concert was not merely a celebration of culture, but a reaffirmation of unity through India's diverse languages, traditions, and communities.
The concert showcases the spirit of patriotism, highlighting the Nation's vibrant heritage and shared identity.
The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeks to instil pride and patriotism in citizens, and calls upon all to embrace the Tiranga and actively contribute to Nationbuilding, Bhalla said.
The Governor further remarked that the Tiranga represents sovereignty, strength, and the collective aspirations of the Nation, embodying its rich history and the struggles of its people.
The values it stands for - courage, peace, and prosperity - must be upheld by all, he added.
The Governor inspected stalls opened at MSFDS showcasing various handloom and handicraft products.
MLAs, Chief Secretary Dr Puneet Kumar Goel and senior officers attended the event.
