BJP Central leaders expected soon, says Speaker

Imphal, November 06 2025: "We have received reports that some BJP Central leaders would be coming to Manipur soon and we shall see whether the Centre allows formation of a popular Government in Manipur after the leaders� visit", stated Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata.

The Speaker was speaking at the opening function of a store named �The Solutions� dealing in construction materials at Tangjeng Lamkhai, Thoubal today. On being asked whether a popular Government will be formed for sure within the current month, Satya-brata maintained that it would be more appropriate to raise the question to BJP Manipur Pradesh.

So far, there is no definite information whether a popular Government will be formed within November or not, he said.

"Yet there are reports that some Central BJP leaders will be coming to Imphal soon.

We shall see if they initiate any steps towards formation of a popular Government in the State", the Speaker said.

The Speaker also opened an APL Apollo exhibition at The Solutions where all kinds of door frames and window frames are available.

Among others, MLAs Kongkham Robindro and L Rameshwor were also present at the opening function.
