Campaign on road safety underway

Imphal, January 30 2025:
Pramesh Arambam, Superintendent of Police, Manipur Traffic Control Police Wing, on Thursday flagged off a Road Safety Awareness Video Road Show from Kangla Western Gate.
The two days long road show was organised as a part of the Road Safety Month which is being observed from January 1 to 31, 2025, under the theme, "Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Suraksha" .
Speaking on the occasion, Pramesh Arambam said that the Traffic Police Wing has been conducting various awareness camps and drives at different places as part of the observation of Road Safety Month.
He continued that the initiative was taken up with the aim to sensitize the public about common errors while driving and educate them about the importance of road safety and their role in keeping roads safe.
He also shared that as part of the two-days campaign, road shows will be conducted at various places to make the people aware about traffic rules and safety measures.
Furthermore, Pramesh Arambam appealed to the people to follow traffic rules and prioritise road safety to prevent tragic accidents and save precious human lives.
