RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camp

As a part of Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal successfully organised Swachhta Health Camp at various relief camps and places ofthe State.
According to a release issued by RIMS, the inaugural Swachhta Health Camp was organised on May 12, 2024 at Khangabok Relief Camp.
In continuation, it was also conducted at Lilong Darul-Uloom Markaz, Thoubal, Sagpltongba and Kumbi Lai Shandhong Mandop, Bishnupur.
The Swachhta Health Camp ended today at Sunusiphai Awang Leikai Community Hall, Bishnupur.
During the Swachhta Health Camp, free treatment, health checkups and consultations were provided to the conflict survivors taking shelter at the relief camps.
A team of doctors from different departments of Medicine, Obst & Gynae, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology and Dental College provided free health examination/consultation to the conflict survivors who attended the health camp.
Free medicines were also distributed to the patients.
The doctors, nursing staff, pharmacist and staff of RIMS, Imphal actively participated and dedicated their service to serve the patients.
The authorities of the relief camps have conveyed their gratitude to RIMS for organising the health camps.
