Competitions, outreach programmes continue under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

Kakching/Tengnoupal, September 27 2026: As part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, various activities continue to be conducted in districts across the State.

Kakching

The Zonal Education Office Kakching under the supervision of the District Administration Kakching, continued various student activities at educational institutions across Kakching district as a part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.The activities were conducted under the theme "My Vision of Viksit Manipur-2047" and included painting, essay writing and elocution.

Over 200 students actively participated in the various competitions, showcasing their talents.

The participating institutions were HK Memorial English School - Langmeidong, Chirag English School - Sora, Green Ground Academy - Wangoo, United Public School - Serou, Rising Sun English School and Saraswati Bal Bidya Mandir - Pagantabi.

Also, an awareness and interaction programme aimed at sensitising students on the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse was held at MMS Genius Academy -Pagantanbi, where the school was declared as a 'Drug Free Campus'.

The programme was conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) and also as a part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.As an initiative to deliver Government services at the doorsteps of the citizens, the District Administration Kakching is organising Seva Setu Abhiyan camps under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.The Seva Setu Abhiyan camp will be held at the DC Office Complex, Kakching tomorrow and at Waikhong Ningthoumanai Lairembi Shanglen on October 5, 2026.Beneficiary enrolment/verification, documentation and application of various Government schemes of various departments will be provided under one roof at the outreach camps.

Also, free health camps will be conducted at both the venues.

The residents are encouraged to participate and access the Central and State Government Welfare Schemes by bringing all relevant documents with them to avail the benefits on the spot.

Tengnoupal

As part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Health department under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer (CMo) Tengnoupal, visited Anganwadi centres across the district and held an interaction with Anganwadi workers, ASHA, mothers and patients.

The team of doctors, nurses, ANM, ASHA workers and facilitators conducted awareness on nutrition, child and maternal welfare schemes, family planning counselling.

Health check up and monitoring were done on diabetes hyper test, Bp test, DM patient sugar test, immunization, td vaccination, ANC hb test, Haemoglobin test, ncd screening were done at those centres.

As part of the visits, medicines were also distributed to patients who turn up including pregnant women.

The Anganwadi centres visited and covered includes AAM Khunbi, AAM Sita, AAM Aimol Tampak, AAM Saivom, AAM Khulsaibung, Khangshim Anganwadi centre and AAM Machi.

Beneficiary testimonial videos were also taken at AAM Khunbi under Khangshim Anganwadi centre.

Seva Sankalp Abhiyan was also held at PHC Tengnoupal, SDH Moreh and PHC Moreh.

As part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Tengnoupal and Foundation of Rural Development (FORD) organized painting and elocution competition on the theme "My Vision of Viksit Manipur", on Friday at the premises of FORD Children Home for Boys, Machi.

DCPU Tengnoupal in collaboration with FORD Children Home, Machi also organized Aangan Ka Utsav with Anganwadi workers and helpers at Machi yesterday.

The programme celebrated their invaluable grassroots contribution towards child care, protection, nutrition and early childhood development while strengthening community participation and convergence for the welfare of children.

Various campaigns on Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in Tengnoupal district under different programmes and themes were organized under the District Administration, Tengnoupal.
