Imphal, February 24 2025: A 5-day workshop on "Youth Empowerment and Skills+ (YES!+)" kicked off today at the multipurpose hall of the Department of Teacher Education, Manipur University.

The workshop was organised by the Department of Teacher Education, MU in collaboration with The Art of Living Foundation, Bengaluru.

The inaugural function was graced by Prof N Lokendra, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Prof T Inaobi Singh, Head, Department of Yoga, Manipur University and former Dean, School of Education; and Rajaque Rahman, senior faculty, The Art of Living Foundation as presidium members.

At the event, Prof N Lokendra highlighted the importance of the workshop amid the ongoing ethnic crisis, emphasizing its role in relieving stress, trauma, depression, and various other mental, emotional, and social issues that have deeply affected the psyche of youth, particularly those impacted by the crisis.
