UNACCO fetes meritorious students, inducts Chairman's Club 2026-27

Imphal, August 23 2026: The induction ceremony of the Chairman's Club 2026-27 of UNACCO School, celebrating excellence and achievement across all UNACCO Schools, was held today at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound.

The programme was attended by UNACCO School DGM Nandeibam Shyamchand, UNACCO Group HR Head Konthoujam Deepak and UNACCO School Chairman Ningombam Irabanta among others.

Students from Class 3 to Class 12 who were selected for the Chairman's Club were felicitated with special gifts during the function.

The Chairman's Club comprises students who have excelled not only in academics from top rank to 1 Oth rank but also in sports and other outstanding activities.

Selected students are provided with various facilities by UNACCO School.

Addressing the function, N Irabanta said the school is making all-out efforts to guide students on the right path.

Stating that the Club was formed to encourage healthy competition among students in various fields, he urged the inducted members to strive to retain their membership in the coming years.

"Hard work during student life and striving for excellence in every field should become a habit", he said.

He also appealed to parents to play a proactive role in motivating their children to become members of the Club.
